T minus 350: Entropy

I had two choices today: do spring cleaning in my bedroom or do lab-notebook updating/desk cleaning in the lab.  I chose the former.  I thought it would be more manageable, but it is not always as easy as you think it will be.  With all the (legitimate) “distractions” that came my way today, I have a room full of clutter instead of just having a little-messy-here-and-there room.  It’s 9 p.m. and my bed is strewn with papers to sort, clean clothes to put away, magazines and books to put back in the shelves or recycle… entropy has won yet again!  Who am I to defy the laws of nature anyways?  I guess the clutter in the bed will just have to migrate to the floor for now so that I can sleep later.  Or I could actually spend the next two hours putting order to things.  Let’s do the latter this time.
